I have to tell you that blogging from the iPhone isn’t all that difficult. The only thing that annoys me is moving to a separate screen for numbers and punctuation.
I am stretched out in bed very gym clothes from an aborted exercise mission. Work came first today. It is the end of the week, month, and pay cycle so I am killing myself trying to make my goals.
The first portion of the shift was spent with a client that likes to tells stories from his misspent youth. It is interesting what people will tell you is their history even when you know it is false. His story is clearly fictionalized. I suppose it is just his fantasy.
The latter portion of the afternoon was spent teasing a client and forcing him to self-seduce with his fetish items. Have I mentioned that I love my job lately? Since I haven’t, I have been remiss.
More to come about work.

I am now able to post easily peasily from my all new iPhone 3G. This, next to Phonesabre, is my favorite app.
Perhaps it will encourage me to post more. What do you think?

I wish I could say I had fallen madly in love. I wish I could tell you that I am having copious amounts of sex. Obviously, from the verb tense chosen, you know that is not the fact. The title of this post, I chose, because I’m puppy-sitting.
The puppy is an adorable confection; she is an adoreable furball with much too much energy for the likes for me to keep up. She runs and runs and runs. For such a tiny little thing, she has massive paws. And, in the right light, reminds me a bit of Snoopy is Snoopy was blessed with reddish-brown fur and a black racing stripe down her back.
As cute as she is, she’s awful. She can’t manage to do her business on paper or puppy pads. I take her out for a walk; she fails to do her business. She does, however, run wildly through the grass on her leash which is a sight to see. Baseboards, tile, carpeting all have become her chew-toys. I run around frantically clapping and shouting “NO!”
With all the daytime excitement, she collaspses in the afternoon. She sprawls on the floor wherever her energy ends. Then she naps. At night, after returned to her doting owner, she sleeps and undoubtedly dreams the sweetest dreams.
As I mentioned, she’s awful, yet I still adore and love her. It’s one of those conundrums, isn’t it? Why do we adore the creatures that combine sometimes sweet and mostly-awful behaviors?

I know. I know. I’m a very bad girl for not writing or posting or saying anything. I offer no words for my defense. I kept up. I read your blogs and commented occassionally. I needed a break from the blog-o-sphere.
What have I been doing? I assure you, with some great sadness, that it is nothing sexually scintillating or titillating. Although, it does involve me cuddled up in bed, beneath a cover. I am alone during these adventures. It doesn’t really bother me; it’s just annoying like an itch that is just out of reach.
And, no, I haven’t been ill. I shall dispell that myth straight away. I’m perfectly healthy, save for not getting enough sleep. Thank goodness my vice of late goes well with sitting in bed.
Reading took control of my life. Devouring books is the vice to which I’ve been alluding. Genres do not matter. Interesting premises, topics or reviews draw me in. I’ve read everything from classic Gothic novels to novellas to social satire to teen dramas.
A few of the books that I’ve leafed through, in no particular order:
- Northanger Abbey — Jane Austen
- Austenland — Shannon Hale
- King Dork — Frank Portman
- The Handmaid’s Tale — Margaret Atwood
- Catherine the Great — Virginia Rounding
- Twilight — Stephanie Meyers
- Eclipse – Stephanie Meyers
- New Moon – Stephanie Meyers
- In the beginning…Was the command line — Neil Stephenson
- The Uncommon Reader A Novella — Alan Bennett
- Assorted works from Oscar Wilde
- Assorted works from Edith Wharton
- Assorted summer romance novels (wickedly predictable to the point of being put down on the side table)
And, all the while composing and editing this post, I’ve been listening to Katy Perry’s I kissed a girl.
